Zenergy Green International was born out of a simple but urgent question from a farming community in Zeerust, South Africa: how can we secure affordable, reliable energy without crippling our businesses?

In 2019, local farmers faced endless quotes, confusion, and financial roadblocks in their search for solar energy. What started as a personal mission by co-founders Jean Oosthuizen and Steven van Dijk to help one farm soon revealed a much bigger opportunity: a new way to unlock clean, dependable energy through collaboration.

From those beginnings, ZGI has grown into an international platform that connects people, partners, and technologies across industries. Today, our work spans energy, water, food, education, arts, and culture — proving that real change happens when we bring humanity back into finance and take greed out of the equation.
