Situated in the North-West of South Africa, a consortium of farmers and companies has been harnessing green power for more than two years. Over the past few years, we have commisioned over 4.7MW of battery energy storage (BESS) and 1MW of solar power. In collaboration with partners CVE and WHP we designed, modelled, negotiated, and implemented a much-needed solution to address load shedding. We secured over $2.500.000 in investment to support the community with green and reliable power, including Toyota and prominent chicken and pork farmers who grow for the biggest names in the industry.
