Mongu is a pioneering 30MW of a larger portfolio framework for solar and storage projects designed for scalable rollout and long-term energy delivery to off-takers through Zesco’s wheeling framework. The project, created by Standard Bank & GreenCo, is called Zamwatt. Initiate Capital, as the lead sponsor, has been a frontrunner on this program.
